I don't think I know any band that's as much fun t I don't think I know any band that's as much fun to shoot as Electric Eel Shock. This was the third time and I've loved every second. The only downside is that it becomes impossible to choose among my photos because there are so many that I love!
2026-10-17 VĂ„ren 2005 tog Simon @magisternsthlm Ty 2026-10-17 VĂ„ren 2005 tog Simon @magisternsthlm Tyan med mig till Huset i Huddinge, som senare blev @kultopiahuddinge. Jag blev frĂ€lst pĂ„ en sekund av detta kulturhus för unga, med sin fantastiska scen. NĂ„t Ă„r senare fick jag spela pĂ„ den och uppleva rockstjĂ€rnekĂ€nslan (bild 2, av @m_hermelin). Varken dödsmetallbandet Mictian eller alt-rockbandet Addicted Flick fick sĂ„ mycket publik, men för mig var det magiskt. 2009 frĂ„gade jag om jag fick fota en konsert pĂ„ Huset och efterĂ„t skrev @lellekingstedt till mig och undrade om jag kunde fota igen (bild 3). Det blev starten pĂ„ mitt konsertfotande (bild 4), nĂ„got jag ju fortfarande Ă€lskar och hade glĂ€djen att göra hos dem till och med 2022. Efter det har jag fĂ„tt lĂ€ra upp nya, unga fotografer dĂ€r, en Ă€ra i sig. Kultopia/Huset har varit en otroligt viktig plats för mig och jag vet att den har varit det för vĂ€ldigt mĂ„nga andra. Jag har sett och fotat fler spelningar dĂ€r Ă€n nĂ„got annat stĂ€lle. FĂ„tt se ungdomar hitta sin identitet, magiska framtrĂ€danden, trollbundna publiker. Som den gĂ„ngen det psykedeliska bandet Bauta blev utan sĂ„ngare och @mikael.sehlin i Degradead hoppade in och improviserade sĂ„ng Ă„t dem utan att ha hört dem innan (bild 5). Eller nĂ€r det anordnades konserter för syriska flyktingar och stĂ€llet blev proppfullt av glĂ€dje och nĂ„gra tĂ„rar (bild 6). Det finns otroligt mĂ„nga fina minnen. Även jag hittade min identitet dĂ€r - först som musikintresserad ungdom och punkare, sedan som fotograf, efter det som pedagog. Efter att jag blev utbrĂ€nd gjorde jag min arbetstrĂ€ning pĂ„ Kultopia och utöver att jag hittade tillbaka till mig sjĂ€lv och lĂ€rde mig balans i arbetet sĂ„ fick jag pĂ„ egen hand lĂ€ra mig grafisk design nĂ€r jag gjorde konsertaffischerna under ett Ă„r (bild 7 och 8). I lördags gjordes det sista evenemanget nĂ„gonsin, innan Kultopia flyttar till nya lokaler. Scenen har sett likadan ut sedan 1991 och banden och musikerna som har stĂ„tt pĂ„ den Ă€r otaliga. Det var högtidligt, fint och vemodigt att göra det en sista gĂ„ng. NĂ€r @detstorabla.band slagit ut sitt sista ackord (bild 9) och klivit av scenen stod jag dĂ€r en stund i tystnad och bara kĂ€nde stunden. Tack, Huset, lĂ€nge leve Kultopia.

Jason's lyrics have always spoken to me and once a Jason's lyrics have always spoken to me and once again seeing him singing them live was such a treat. The highlight was the song When We Rule The World, that I had not seen live before. It definitely made me tear up a bit.
